Cytoplasmic Time?

Can there be anything as Cytoplasmic Time? "Since the intracellular and interstitial procession of actions and reactions occur on a different scale relative to our time-frame. Does this mean that the cytoplasmic environment is characterized by a distinct time scheme, and what effect does this physical character have on the biological environment and its physiological metabolic procession?" I am a penultimate student studying Biochemistry of the University of Lagos, Nigeria. With my depth of knowledge in Bioscience, I haven't left my keen interest in the physics of nature. I have pursued my interest progressively and attempted its further integration into the Bioscience world. The interdisciplinary nature of science for sure has helped further in homogeneity of its established facts and laws. Critical Thought and the Logical relation of facts have also been my major sturdy skill, and it has majorly helped my study, even in this. Towards the end of ...

Recess: A Prime from the Future. From the Old Futurism archives.

Good day Everyone, I decided to do something quite unusual today, so I logged into Mind-Sumo , and made out for the post that won me my highest win yet; that was about two years ago, and I was one of the top scorer. Its been a while since I have taken up a challenge, and so $44.50 is yet my highest win. I'm not really particular about the money, but what exactly made me top the charts. The challenge goes thus; What experience would you want to send long distance from person to person? Prompt : Imagine you leave New York  City in January and fly to Miami. As you drive into the city, the breeze carries the salty scent of ocean air into your open window. The warm setting sun paints the horizon pink and orange against the rows of palm trees. In the city, you follow your nose to a food truck by a park, where you eat an arepa and listen to a conga band. If only you could share the full experience with your friends...

The Race For The Stage. Must Read before 2018

Setting up goals as we know is mostly the easiest, compared to proficiently actualising them. Within seconds wanted goals and future visions swarm our head. Giving us the hope that everything would go as planned. Mostly everyone brag to their coming days every year's eve, bursting through their zeal, the renewed resolution and goals. Even as the slightest thought that things won't proceed smoothly suffices, they overwhelm themselves with hopes that this time, a difference would be made. As the 0:00 gong jingles, they bounce off the previous minute failures into the present quest to actualise ready-made goals. They merry the whole season, with their hearts living in wait for the kickoff, and ultimately dashes into debuting it's premiere, and actualising them. Within two to three days even until two to three months, they phase happily through the process of actualising long term goals, and stacking up the results of which they have realised. Afterwards, weariness s...

Word has it..

Word has it, Life isn't fair... Life is all but hope to bear, ha ha, and probably the night cold to sneeze. Word has it that, seconds doesn't only count forward; Rather, a constant remainder that the past always will be long-lost. The drive to live life is all concerned with breaking barriers and boundaries. From extra-dimensional, we broke into the womb, and laid siege against our containing vessel for 8 months and half, exercising patience till the right moment when its defense was precariously weak. We tore it down to further break boundaries which are to come. Now, we're faced with them one after the other, making us seem very tired and weary, at the height of the impending challenges, giving way to its intimidation and seeming supremacy. We probably have forgotten that all it takes to bring a challenge crashing down, is the effort which had been built little by little till it was rightfully enough. Just a little effort regularly, will weaken its roots s...

Teardrops In The Rain

Photo Credit: Manga Reader ....... Heart sinks deep into void, hope has lost its hold; After living in phantasm, smiling till the doom that struck; I used to spend the bright day, thinking about nothing but a bright day; Never realized the doom, continuously pawing at my walls; I used to drink cups and gourds, and merry all day; I never sourced for more, till the stocks at home became sour; The doom crawled slowly in, in with darkening clouds; It brought its handmaiden, 'Seethe', towing the lightening bolt along; They invaded mine in their numbers, tearing down its fence; The outburst started, a gale coursed, and terror rose; The rain sent it's heavy downpour, cascading all of mine; It's cold, froze my soul, setting all warmth free, granting them relief; I collapsed, my palms raised so high, my heart sunk; Hope weakened its grip, and forsook my soul; It fell into oblivion, it became a servant to doom; I hated that moment, I wept that moment; Days passed, I gr...

Battle Scars....

I got inspired by Lupe Fiasco and Guy Sebastian's Battle scars. It drove me into writing this. Enjoy as you read along. We've seen it's darkest, trodden it's gloomiest; Through life's thicket, we've bruised in and out; We've seen its colors, fought with its strongest; Now, we're counting our wounds, tending its cuts. I hope you never come back, thou blood lust; Stay where you've been bound: War, grow no more. These Battle Scars, graven deep in our hearts; Wish they vanish, it's memories along. The days after Now, filled with gay, no rue; Free from the scum of the days behind; No one after no-one, sin to eschew; The deeds of the past, kept out and confined. We stare at their faces in the night skies, Those that were fallen, that dropped their hold-on. We pledge to train our youngsters in the truth; Hope our pleas be granted, by heavens grace; Get engaged, Comment and Share. We appreciate you.

Vagabond - Miyamoto Musashi

I fatefully stumbled upon a prominent Japanese beacon, whilst surfing through their in-despicable preserved heritage. This writer, and author of  The Book of Five Rings, the brilliant strategist and Buddhist, started forging his history-long prestige. After being foretold his destiny, he set out at the age of 16, into the world ; into the wild ; into the wind of knowledge. No sane one keeps the story; I've been portioned a ruthless glory; The earth has smouldered my feet; As it ventured past the smoking trees; The self-will blazes; Just as Fire to my Cold. The years had slowed down; It drilled me by the sword; I slowed down my heart; And trimmed off my own soul; In order to learn that much; I'm finally free and un-catchable. I've come too far to see the end now; Even if my way is wrong; But I'll keep pushing on. *Wa-l-k on So-n* Miyamoto Musashi Get engaged, Comment and Share. We appreciate you.

Early Chill.... A Chain Of Quatrain. Most Read

Just as elementary biology states, the skin, the largest organ, has some roles it exerts on its system and it's environment. I want you not only to see this poem as superficial, but rather, a deep sighting through life, as a proverbial analogy, to bring lifes' act to us, through the facts which we already know. Goose bumps, all in array, out of shivering; They pop out, on my skin, in their army; Their flags raised so high and unwavering; So that a vacuum of warm air, 'hope', lies within; The tense contend of involuntary tug-of-war; Causing the skin foundation to shake vehemently; Skin tremors and vibrators let loose, somatic uproar; Making the grinders up above let out a gnashing sound; The fate of the contest is dependent on the intensity of the antagonists; It's goal: just to make cold everything having pores; The strength of the warm air is what the whole body banks on; Cold thrills in no time starts traveling into the interior (of which fat would determin...

How to live the most out of life? Dream Walker - 4

O! Human child , Life is like the green; It gets thicker as you proceed through; When its weariness hits you, causing innumerable crashes; Don't give way to it's riddance, it'll only weigh you down; Nothing, but true determination leads you on and keeps you up; Until the large gust comes, eliminating all suffering; Hold of your fort, keep your defense firm, against the kerfuffle on life's course; Keep your hopes on high, hope for the best; Disregard every failure; Uphold your glory; The voice dissipated as I assumed my sleeping body; What a dream! Dream Walker - 3....

A large gust came along, dragging every thing in its path; It moved the splatter, stripped the trees of their clothing; The gust brought along hope, it restored my soul; With its mild whistles, it brought me back to life; Strength returned, my muscles twitched with joy; The terrain flattened from thick to thin brushes and stumps; My eyes opened slightly to view the peeking Sun; I sighed humorously, 'Good grief!, It's a good thing I won my last breath over'; I smiled, enjoying the comfort of the heating mud; Before I knew, I was walking on another sidewalk; I had no time to hear, and sneezed myself back out to life; I opened my eyes to the red clouds, the skies had gone darker; Then I stood up, to set on home, then a voice through my head spoke....; Get engaged, Comment and Share. Dream Walker - 2

Rain came down, still I laid, helpless; I only could hear the waters as they flood my ears; And the call of the animals, as they took over my hearing; My knees started shuddering, in shivers that quakes; My body reached it's limits, I could see the end; I could feel my spirit struggling to stay; My heart racing to sustain myself, it pulsed harder; My liver contending with cold, fighting hard to neutralize it's effect; My other members, determined to keep to par; They offered their ultimate aid, to help save my soul; Nature smiled at my pitied face, with the smirk of terror; Terror of what next to happen, my mind suffered the imagery; It left all hope behind, set straight for doom; Get engaged, Comment and Share. Philosophy of Limbo Synchrony- Eye Into Perception ....1

Have you ever experienced happenings in the Dream which perfectly happens in-sync with happenings in the Real world?  You're just realising that actually happens?  You've never even noticed? You'd better start noticing this beautiful connection Mother Nature  actually bridged. And if we're in similar category,  who have actually noticed, it's time we get our philosophy potentials up the chart. It's said 'Curiosity kills the cat',  but I'm sorry THIS cat has 9 killable lives', If you're really good at it,  I'll scar you on 5 and dislodge your cervicals on 8, Pretty Simple. I had tripped into sleep,  months ago, when I encountered this phenomenon. It felt like a coincidence, until the 2nd and 3rd, did I believe it is an actual happening. It happened a few more times after that, like it had programmed intervals. I haven't quite figured that out. I'll make sure you know in the next serie. In the dream I had at first. I looke...
